Strategic Goals

Our Educational Pyramid lays out the order in which Math Mastery needs to be taught. A solid Math foundation taught to MASTERY is required to equip a student with the tool necessary for deeper cognitive and innovative forward thinking in this new space-age generation.

Written communication skills taught to highly proficient level is a vital part of our strategic educational plan to enable students to cohesively express their rationale for their decision backed by discoveries and empirical data.

Goal #1: SOLID MATH AND COMMUNICATION EDUCATION UPON WHICH TO BUILD

Goal #2: LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Leadership development begins with the individual's character. A good leader exhibit socially acceptable manners and respect for others, be reliable, honest, self-disciplined, empathic and with low ego needs.

Opportunities to grow in Leadership skills will be offered through Group Project Activities as well as Crown AZ Academy's classroom literature analysis and DOC level 3 and 4 problem solving scenarios. Teaching strategies will include higher level thinking in analytical skills and verbal and nonverbal clues along with data driven components necessary for good decision making.

Goal #3: LEARNING THROUGH ACTION

Invited STEM Guest speakers of local corporations and field trips to various STEM businesses will be a vital part of our program to equip our students with the opportunity to have "visual and hands on" experience and stimulate their inquisitive minds. Students will learn to formulate relevant questions about real business about: costs, problem solving techniques, latest technology used in their companies and various types of math and communication skills needed in businesses. Students will research and report on various business practices in areas of their personal interests.
